Swift Pitch Ep:5

Swift Pitch

Welcome to episode five of Swift Pitch. A lot of injuries to cover, with the biggest being that Spencer Strider will miss the rest of this year after having his UCL repaired. It’s a huge loss for a Braves team that surely will miss Strider’s production.

In other injury news, Carlos Correa was placed on the 10-day IL. While the Dodgers placed Bobby Miller on the 15-day IL.

There have been a lot of injuries to start the season. It’s not super uncommon, with everyone getting their bodies back into season shape. But that doesn’t make the injuries any less fun to deal with.

Some still blame the pitch clock, while others accept it as a natural part of the game. What we all can agree on, though, is that we hate injuries and hope Spencer Strider can make a full recovery.
