The Bills lost an ugly game to the Broncos on Monday Night. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey is going to be the fall guy because the special teams unit had 12 guys on the field when Denver missed the first kick. I guess that’s how goes?
The Buffalo Bills announced the news from their team account.
We can never forget about Dorsey’s blowup in the coaching box. Maybe this right here was the beginning of the end.
Dorsey is out. Joe Brady is in. For those that recognize the Brady name, that’s because he was the playcaller at LSU when Joe Burrow won the National Title there. They clearly want to see what Brady can do with Josh Allen and the rest of the offense. The only problem is the offense really isn’t the problem. Allen leads the NFL in turnovers (13) but the Bills are still 8th in points per game (24.2).
With that said, I’m not sure we’re totally telling the full story here. Sean McDermott is on the hot seat and he knows it. Why else do you make this move? If Buffalo doesn’t turn it around, he’s the next to go. Surely he knows that.
What does McDermott provide? They’re statistically the worst defense in the NFL since Matt Milano got hurt. They continue to blow games late when they have the lead. Just can’t happen when you have a defensive head coach. Barring a major turnaround, McDermott is probably next to go. That’s the reality of the situation.
