Hard Locks College Football: Week 2

Welcome to week two of Hard Locks! Last week, Alex and I debuted this series and the vibes were high as we picked the ten ESPN games for their College Pick ‘Em, only to struggle out of the gate. Alex finished the week 4-6 and I finished 5-5 (click here to watch last week’s video). Simply isn’t good enough.

We have a great slate of games this week and I have a feeling those records are going to improve after this week. Here are the games we made picks on:

  • No. 10 Notre Dame (-7.5) at NC State (12 p.m. ET, ABC)
  • Ball State at No. 1 Georgia (-42.5) (12 p.m. ET, SECN)
  • Iowa (-4.5) at Iowa State (3:30 p.m. ET, FOX)
  • UNLV at No. 2 Michigan (-35.5) (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS)
  • Tulsa at No. 8 Washington (-34.5) (5:00 p.m. ET, PAC12)
  • Appalachian State at No. 17 North Carolina (-15.5) (5:15 p.m. ET, ACC)
  • SMU at No. 18 Oklahoma (-16.5) (6:00 p.m. ET, ESPN+)
  • No. 11 Texas at No. 3 Alabama (-7.5) (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN)
  • No. 13 Oregon (-6.5) at Texas Tech (7:00 p.m. ET, FOX)
  • Stanford at No. 6 USC (-29.5) (10:30 p.m. ET, FOX)

There are some great games this week, headlined by Texas at Alabama, and some lines that left us a little confused, like Oregon at Texas Tech. Is Oregon free money, or are some people eating the cheese after their 81-point game last week? It’s going to be a great week regardless, we can feel it. Let us know in the comments below if you believe our Hard Locks College Football picks are just that or if we couldn’t be more wrong!
