The Volume, DraftKings Announce Multi-Year Partnership

Colin Cowherd’s very own “The Volume” announced a multi-year partnership with sports betting giant DraftKings, it was reported Wednesday morning.

“Colin Cowherd has long been an influential voice in sports media,” Stephanie Sherman, Chief Marketing Officer of DraftKings, said via release. “As we continue to grow our content portfolio, we look forward to establishing a strong collaboration with the talented roster at The Volume.”

The deal will reportedly be a multiple-year deal worth several million dollars, though no official number has been announced, it can be certainly deemed giant.

“During our first two years, we’ve seen The Volume grow from a podcast start-up to a media network featuring some of the most interesting voices in sports,” Cowherd said. “We’re thrilled to work with the team at DraftKings. They share our vision to empower talented people to do the shows however they want to do them.”

DraftKings has been crawling up the ladder to become the top sports betting site. The sports betting giant has deals with the NFL, NBA, NHL, PGA Tour and UFC–all naming DraftKings as the official partner of their league.

The Volume, most notably known for media personality Colin Cowherd, has been around since Feb. 1, 2021. Partnering with iHeartRadio, Cowherd produced his own show to produce his own content and host guests.

Now as The Volume continues to grow bigger and bigger, combined with sports betting, reaching an all-time high. The match is made in heaven. The official DraftKings logo, messages and more with be featured on air immediately.

In the future, DraftKings will look to partner with more shows on the air like Cowherds, but now, they’re staying aggressive in looking for more deals. How does this partnership affect The Volume and DraftKings? Let us know in the comments below.
