Colin Cowherd Is Spreading Lies About Nick Saban

It’s storytime. Just bare with me as I try to provide all the context needed. As you can tell by the title, yes, it’s about our good friend Colin Cowherd.

Ever since Cowherd stole my intern, I’ve been kinda monitoring what’s been going on with the Volume. I like to see what Logan is up to and the overall direction of what’s going on with this project. It’s so hard to find quality college football people. Cowherd was interviewing his CFB guy so I figured I’d check it out.

The guy who Cowherd interviewed is T-Bob who used to play for LSU and hosts a show with former quarterback Aaron Murray on the Volume. The interview was fine, nothing special. He’s not Josh Pate quality but it wasn’t totally unwatchable.

With that being said, there is one part of this interview that I just can’t ignore. Go to the (17:30) minute mark. Cowherd says Saban “doesn’t work the recruiting trail as much”.

Just a total blatant lie. Alabama’s 2023 recruiting cycle is arguably his best ever. Alabama ranked first in the country in recruiting rankings beating Georgia by a comfortable margin. Bama landed nine five-star recruits which is more than Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio State combined who rank 3,4, and 5 in the rankings.

This is what Cowherd does. Goes on these mega rants where three lies are included and the responder never calls him out for it. I’m just never going to be one of those people that doubts Nick Saban but lying about him should be viewed as completely insane.

The avid readers of this site all know the truth. If I were to ever debate Cowherd on one of his programs, it would be an absolute bloodbath. We also know it probably won’t happen because it would be dumb on his part to expose himself. His little minions won’t call out his lies, but Trey will.
