As we know Patrick Mahomes is one of the most talented QBs we have ever seen. In the league, I guess he just so happens to be one of the best fantasy QBs too. I don’t think anyone saw that coming (extreme sarcasm). This article won’t be a long one, but the question for Patrick Mahomes fantasy outlook is: Can he repeat as QB1 for fantasy again?

Looking at his weapons, it seems they get worse every year, which could be due to his massive contract. I really thought that would at least make a small impact on his fantasy value, not much, but some. It didn’t. I realized something, as long as the dude has Andy Reid as his HC and Travis Kelce as his TE, there’s nothing to fear as far as his fantasy value, shocker I know.

I mean there is a slight regression in his weapons, Marquez Valdez-Scantling is still there, but they lost JuJu Smith-Schuster to the Patriots. But I’m not worried about that, in fact, that really means there’s so much uncertainty in the Chiefs WR room for fantasy purposes. You could take a flyer on any one of those guys and it might work out for you. Who’s going to have more fantasy points out of Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore, Rashee Rice, hell even Justyn Ross? I couldn’t tell you. Reid will put them in the right spots for Mahomes.

Once you realize that Andy Reid just will not fail, you’ll understand that Patrick Mahomes fantasy outlook should stay at the top. I’m still back and forth on if he will be my QB1 when my fantasy rankings come out, but it’s a safe bet that you won’t be necessarily wrong if you do put him there.
