Dumbass Bill O’Brien Strikes AGAIN! Texans Acquire Brandin Cooks From Rams

Brandin Cooks is totally done. In 14 games, Cooks had 42 receptions for 583 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cooks has been ravaged by injuries and just isn’t the same anymore. His production reflects that considering he had four 1,000 yard seasons in a row prior to last year. The Rams have been trying to escape his horrendous $81 million contract that pays through 2023. Luckily, all they had to do is call Bill O’Brien.

In the least shocking news of the day, Bill O’Brien has decided to trade for Brandin Cooks has is a shell of himself. The Texans are sending a future 2nd round pick for Cooks and a future 4th round pick:

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was the first to report the news:

Cooks, 26, has been traded a lot in his NFL career. The Saints, Patriots, and Rams have now traded him. Brandin Cooks has only been in the NFL for 6 years which is crazy to think about. That’s not the story here. The story is Bill O’Brien being the dumbest general manager in NFL history. This man just traded DeAndre Hopkins for a 2nd round pick and essentially gave up the same pick for Brandin Cooks. The man is either stupid or has never watched football. Seriously… You can’t make this up. Every team in the NFL should be calling to see what it takes to grab Deshaun Watson. Nate Peterman and a 7th? That sounds good, I’ll send the paperwork over!

Imagine the party that the Rams are throwing right now? Yes, the Rams will be paying a hefty $21.8 million in dead cap for Cooks. However, to grab a 2nd round pick and escape some of that money for a broken down player is a miracle. This is a huge win for LA. I can’t believe they found a taker.
