We dive into another 2020 NFL Draft War Room. Up next is the Seattle Seahawks. The franchise is starting to turn the corner. The Legion of Boom is gone but Seattle has really reloaded and is starting to get more young talent. Russell Wilson still is carrying the franchise but Seattle has a chance to add to what is a good thing going. The Seahawks feel like a few pieces away from potentially winning another Super Bowl. Let’s dive into what the Seahawks may be thinking during the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Seahawks have 8 picks this draft. The big one comes with an extra pick in the 2nd round from the Frank Clark deal. The Seahawks first pick doesn’t come until 27 but having two second rounders give them some wiggle room.

The Seahawks haven’t really addressed the Leo spot. Yes, they did bring back Bruce Irvin, but that’s not enough. As I’m writing this, Jadeveon Clowney hasn’t been re-signed either. Cliff Avril was the last guy to really generate outside pass rush. I think there’s a chance someone like K’Lavon Chaisson falls. Jonathan Greenard would look great in Seattle. Same with Yetur Gross-Matos of Penn State. Find a pass rusher and Seattle becomes that much more dangerous.

For the love of god, get Russell Wilson some offensive lineman! I don’t know why this isn’t the primary focus for Seattle. Germain Ifedi just left too. George Fant got swapped out for Brandon Shell which is a good thing. Still, All 5 guys up front for the Seahawks are replaceable. Get Russ some help.

Later on in the draft, it would be wise to grab another running back. This group got hit so hard by injuries that they brought Marshawn Lynch back. Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny have been hurt and or inconsistent. Grab another running back. Clyde Edwards-Helaire would look REALLY good in Seattle. Just saying.
