Whether he comes out of the backfield in the run or pass game, David Johnson is one of the most electrifying talents in the NFL. While NFL running backs are known for having a short shelf life, Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians isn’t worried about overworking their young running back.

“I want to have 30 touches out of him, if possible, because that’s going to be a lot of offense,” Arians said, via ESPN.com. “When he has his hand on the ball, either as a wide receiver, coming out of the backfield, in the slot, and running, that’s a lot of potential offense for us.”

Johnson was used an average of 23.3 times per game in 2016 which was the most of any tailback a year ago. Johnson had 293 carries and 80 catches over that time period. Head coach Bruce Arians added that Johnson is “too young to overuse” and isn’t worried about him breaking down. Johnson, 25, is one of the best running backs in football and often times makes fantasy owners very happy in the process.
