2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs Preview: St. Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets

Here’s the deal. Trey is in the middle of NFL Draft szn and the one man team of Trey can only do so much. The previews that the NHL team doesn’t hit, I’ll do a short little video preview on. The St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets matchup got left behind, so here’s my short video on the matchup.

Maybe this is a cookie cutter answer, but to me, this comes down to goaltending. Both teams have an important winger injured on the shelf (Ehlers & Holloway). Is Connor Hellebuyck going to be the same guy from the regular season? What version of Jordan Binnington are we getting? Is Robert Thomas capable of winning this series? What if the Jets actually choke again?

I’m going with the Jets in 7. This Blues team shouldn’t be taken lightly as they give them everything they have.
