2025 NFL Draft: Tampa Bay Buccaneers War Room

We’re in the muddy middle when it comes to the 2025 NFL Draft War Room series. As we work through the Mock Draft simulator cheese, this is the part where it gets hard. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a good team, but not a great team. How do we get them to the next level while not having a lot to work with? There in lies the challenge.

We have some good players, but a lot of them are older. Mike Evans, Vita Vea, Chris Godwin, Lavonte David, etc are no spring chickens. If we even want to stay good, we have to nail this draft. Not to mention the fact that Baker Mayfield has improved but nobody is saying he’s an elite option at the position to carry us past our flaws.

• Round 4: No. 121
• Round 5: No. 157
• Round 7: No. 235

Overall, I think Bucs fans will be happy with this. Todd Bowles is a defensive head coach, and we got him some pieces to work with. Antoine Winfield Jr. is certainly a nice piece but we if we got him a stud running mate? Another pass rusher would be nice. Maybe even top it off with one more weapon in the offense?
