2025 NBA Draft: Which prospects received Green Room invites?

We are less than one week away from the 2025 NBA Draft! The two-day event begins on Wednesday, June 25. We officially have our final Green Room invites, where players get to be in attendance with their friends, family and agencies before hearing their name called.

There were 24 total invitees, with three stages of invites being sent out to players. According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, the process for deciding who receives these invites is from “communication with the presidents or general managers of teams that pick throughout the first round,” where they are able to vote on the top-25 players whose names they expect to hear.

OK, now let’s get into the list!

Full Green Room Invite List:

Any surprising invites?

The biggest surprise on the list was Joan Beringer, an 18-year-old French center who’s incredibly mobile and versatile defensively. He’s just raw, skinny and will be viewed as a project. Others that I are lower on (than most), who earned Green Room invites were Will Riley, Liam McNeeley, Egor Demin and Collin Murray-Boyles.

Noa Essengue, who’s still playing basketball for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany, also received an invite; his teammate, Ben Saraf (who I’m higher on), didn’t.

While these 24 players received invites, it’s worth noting that this doesn’t mean they will be first-round picks. Two players–Johnny Furphy and Kyle Filipowski–fell to the second round last year.

Any surprising omissions?

Two immediate omissions were Jase Richardson and Rasheer Fleming, two players who I think should be lottery picks. Richardson is small, but he’s one of the few guards in this class who can shoot. Fleming’s a physical freak who projects to be a protypical 3-and-D wing.

What do you think about this year’s invites? Let us know in the comments!
