2024 NHL Offseason Preview Episode Four: Vegas Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights experienced some serious heartbreak before this offseason. Coming in as the defending champs, it felt like Cloud Nine from the start of the playoffs. The Knights won the first two games in Dallas against the Stars as it felt like the same old story was about to start. However, they dropped four of the next five and ultimately fell in Game Seven. There are questions at different positions in this roster. How will they open cap space to bring their pending free agents back? How do they address the long-term future in net? What ways will they fill out the depth pieces in the lineup?

Just watch the video and pay good attention. Kelly McCrimmon and his front office are some of the smartest people in the game. They consistently think outside of the box and are not afraid to rip off another team in the trade market. The path to bringing the band back together is a lot easier than most people think. As is the path to upgrading even further. Expect the 2023 Champs to come in with vengeance looking to reclaim the Stanley Cup.

You have the pillars of your team in guys like Jack Eichel, Alex Pietrangelo, and Mark Stone. You can bet your bottom dollar that they will find a way to bring back quality supporting pieces and even improve in some areas like the middle six or goaltending.
