2024 NFL Draft War Room: San Francisco 49ers

Welcome back to the 2024 NFL Draft War Room Series. The place where I tell the truth and that fan base proceeds to lie to themselves while getting irrationally angry at me. Look no further than the comments left in the Chiefs video. Trey tells the truth, the fanboys protect their team at all costs. I’m quite sure it will ongoing theme for the rest of the videos to come. With the San Francisco 49ers under the microscope next, get ready for those truth bombs that are on the way.

Let’s be honest; the 49ers should trade Brock Purdy and Brandon Aiyuk. They won’t and will suffer the consequences for it. I will do the best I can to prepare for those dark days as I’m not left with much of a choice working this far back in the draft.

How can I improve this team? It’s a strong roster but still has plenty of holes and that’s before they pay those two. I don’t love this mock I did with this team but I’m not exactly working here with ideal circumstances.

San Francisco needs to find replacements for Purdy and Aiyuk (they won’t) while continuing to beef up the offensive line, defensive line, and secondary.

2024 NFL Draft War Room: Kansas City Chiefs

In reality, Kyle Shanahan is probably wasting his time here and likely won’t win until the 49ers fire him for the wrong reasons so he can follow the Andy Reid career path. I’ll do the best I can for him in the meantime. You probably just won’t love the results.
