2023 NFL Draft War Room: Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are trending up! AFC South champs baby! Just know Trey always believed and cashed that ticket. That being said, the job is not done. It’s all about getting the Jags to that next level now. The only problem is Trent Baalke will probably botch it. Let’s just get into it. It’s Jacksonville Jaguars 2023 NFL Draft War Room time.

• Round 3, Pick 88
• Round 4, Pick 121
• Round 4, Pick 127 (from TB)
• Round 5, Pick 161
• Round 6, Pick 179 (from HOU via NYJ)
• Round 6, Pick 208 (from PHI)
• Round 7, Pick 228 (from CAR)

I might sound like a broken record at this point, but this draft stinks. Does one of the premier talents fall to pick 24? If not, it’s time to punt. The only difference being that Trevor Lawrence exists. This window is wide open. No reason to panic in the here and now. We want to improve this team while keeping an eye on the future. Plus the AFC South stinks so it’s not like we have to panic to win this division. Should be a walk in the park here.

There are some core pieces that you like. Tyson Campbell is great but there isn’t another corner on the roster you trust. Taking one, two or even three of them makes a lot of sense. WIth the bookend pass rushers the Jags have with Josh Allen and Travon Walker, beefing up the secondary has to be a priority.

Outside of that, it’s all about getting Trevor Lawrence more help. The offensive line could use upgrades. Maybe another weapon or two? How about a real secondary running back? All things the Jags should be considering on draft day.
