Resident Evil Village is a survivor horror game released in 2021 by Capcom. The game was well received as the sequel to Resident Evil: Biohazard, which released in 2017. However, Village was a more action-oriented Resident Evil title, but it still had the same atmosphere and horror elements as other games in the Franchise.
Village was another successful entry in the franchise, but it does not stop there as Capcom is planning on releasing a Gold edition in the fall of 2022. This is the announcement trailer for the new Village Gold Edition.
This is a lot of new content for Resident Evil fans, with the Gold Edition bringing three additional major features that were introduced in the Winters’ Expansion. There will be a third-person mode where gamers can play the full story from that new perspective to give them a different experience from the main story. Also, the Village Gold Edition will have ‘The Mercenaries Additional Orders’ which is a mode that allows gamers to play as past characters in the franchise on multiple different stages as they eliminate enemies.
The third new feature is ‘Shadows of Rose’ which is another story mode as it continues the tale of Ethan’s daughter Rosemary from the last game. On top of all that new content, the Gold Edition still possesses the full base game so gamers can always enjoy the original title as well as the online exclusive title Resident Evil Re:Verse.
Village Gold Edition Release Date Information
Village Gold Edition is set to release on Oct. 28, 2022. The game will drop on multiple platforms consisting of old generation and next generation consoles. Village Gold Edition will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The Village Gold Edition will be a highly anticipated new game for Resident Evil fans as it offers a huge amount of content through three new major features and the original title of Resident Evil Village.
