After the big trade to acquire Bradley Chubb, maybe Miami now has their missing piece to a title team? Are the Miami Dolphins Super Bowl bound? Their quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, says that should very much be on the table.
“We’re not afraid to talk about Super Bowls here,” Tagovailoa said Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques. “We’re not afraid to talk about going to a playoff game, having the opportunity to go to one, and then, hopefully, winning one.”
“I would say I have full belief that we are capable (of winning a Super Bowl),” he added.
In games that Tua starts and finishes a game healthy, Miami is 5-0 as compared to 0-4 in games he fails to either start or finish a game. Keep Tua healthy and good things are going to happen. The haters got this wrong and they know it.
Miami also traded for Jeff Wilson for what it’s worth. I’ve been screaming in the Slack for weeks to have Mike McDaniel chill out on the carries for Raheem Mostert. With Wilson now in town, that running game really takes a step forward. Not saying Wilson is a world beater but we have to take this Dolphins team seriously. The real question is why did any of you doubt this team’s potential prior to the season?
Maybe the Dolphins will win the Super Bowl. Maybe they won’t. What matters right now is Tua deserves his flowers. Tua ranks first in QBR while completing 70% of his throws with a 12-3 TD to INT ratio. The haters need to stop. The man can play.
