Tony Khan “Impossible For Anyone To Deal With,” Worse Than Vince McMahon – Reports
Tony Khan, the CEO and President of AEW, has made headlines before for his poorly timed comments while promoting his shows. Khan took a shot on Twitter at Vince McMahon after McMahon announced his retirement from WWE. But maybe Khan isn’t as different from Vince McMahon as he thinks.
Recently, Khan has had issues backstage at AEW. As reported by Ringside News, his behavior has become a problem. Khan has reportedly gone overboard with how he talks to the commentary team over the headset. This happens on a regular basis and has become an issue.
“In the past month, Tony Khan has become impossible for anyone to deal with. It’s not just the communication issues with talent, it’s also how he acts on headsets,” a source with knowledge of the issues told Ringside News.
Khan has been said to be worse than Vince McMahon in regard to talking to the commentary team. His unprofessionalism has been compared to WWE’s Kevin Dunn, who would make fun of the commentary team. It’s clear there are issues inside of AEW involving Khan. McMahon is known for being in the commentator’s ears the entire night, but evidently Khan has been reported to be worse.
Khan has also been criticized for his lack of communication. Most recently, former ROH world champion, Jonathan Gresham, aired his frustrations with how he was treated and the lack of communication. Many others from AEW have commented on the lack of communication between them and Khan. With more reports coming to light of Khan becoming an issue backstage, it makes you question if AEW is actually that much better than WWE.
