Teddy Bridgewater Says His Job Is Easy

Teddy Bridgewater has not lost since taking over the starting quarterback job for the injured Drew Brees. The Saints are 3-0 since Teddy two gloves took over and have slain the Seahawks, Cowboys, and Buccaneers in consecutive weeks. Teddy is walking with an extra pep in his step. Taking over for Drew Brees? Piece of cake. Keep it moving.

“I feel like I have the easy job,” Bridgewater said at his press conference. “All I have to do is throw the ball to Mike Thomas, Jared Cook, Ted Ginn, Austin Carr, Alvin Kamara, Josh Hill, and Taysom Hill. Finding ways to get guys involved and make plays for us. Today was a day when everything was clicking and we can come in this game finding opportunities to score points and get down in the red zone to do some good things.”

He’s got a point. The Saints have great playmakers. Get the ball in their hands. Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas doesn’t get much better as a running back and wide receiver combo. Get the ball in their hands. Hey, anyone can do it! Maybe I can be the Saints new quarterback!

I have two thoughts here. What if Teddy doesn’t lose? Can you pull him? I know it’s Drew Brees but still. I have to give credit to the Barstool Sports Advisors. The Saints have to ride that schlong until it fails. It hasn’t failed yet this year.

I don’t know how the Saints can’t ride the wave. It’s undeniable at this point. Let Drew sit for a few more weeks and we will check back in on this winning streak.

The other thought I have is thinking back to the Vikings. What morons. They are without a doubt a better team with Teddy Bridgewater instead of Kirk Cousins. Not to mention the amount of money they would be saving as well. Teddy has some swag going right now. Let’s see how long it lasts. New Orleans has the Jags, Bears, and Cardinals the next 3 weeks.
