Steve Yzerman: Big Weed Guy?

Steve Yzerman: Big Weed Guy?

Steve Yzerman is leading the Detroit Red Wings in the right direction. He made a really smart trade shipping off Anthony Mantha to DC. Yzerman has also put the Red Wings in a position to really win big soon. Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider look like young superstars. Dylan Larkin and Tyler Bertuzzi are also become real horses on a contending team. So what’s the secret with the wings?

Do the Detroit hockey fans have weed to thank for their bright future? It appears that way. Saying it without saying it, Yzerman appears to *allegedly* be a big weed guy.

“I can’t be honest with that one. Not on national television.”

We’re not positive what Yzerman is talking about, but it’s a really good educated guess. Maybe the guy is a sex addict. Who knows. Michigan has already legalized recreational marijuana use for anyone over the age of 21. That came law passed in 2018. However, Yzerman still won’t admit that’s what he’s doing for obvious reasons.

It is kind of a shame when you think of it. If the guy wants to have high thoughts to unlock his mind on a trade the Red Wings should make, Yzerman should be encouraged to do so. The guy has done nothing but smart things since being put in charge and there are more young monsters on the way. Wait until everyone sees Simon Edvinsson…

I personally think we should make a new rule. Maybe let’s start demonizing hard core coffee drinkers instead? You ever been whacked out on a cup of coffee? That shit is scary.

I don’t mess with caffeine like that. We should probably have AA meetings for caffeine addicts. It comes from a plant and people who are addicted to it look like zombies crawling towards death. Caffeine also comes from a plant. The only difference is this is designed as a pesticide by the plant. The other comes from a plant designed to heal things. HMMM.

It’s hard to root against Steve Yzerman after that segment. Guy gets it and is in the process of building a really fun team in Detroit. If Stevie wants to party, I’ll happily go on a bender with him.

PS: I may or may not be considering doing a new segment on the site called… nevermind. I can’t share it yet. It’s a surprise.
