I do not like Stephen A Smith. I’m still a man of integrity and honor. When someone does something well, I give them their props. The Knicks are a mess and Stephen A nailed his rant. Steve Mills and the Knicks front office held a press conference because they’re disappointed with the team thus far in the early going. Stephen A ripped them a new one.
Stephen A had some good lines on this one.
“When everybody know he’s going LEFT!!!
“The Knicks are straight trash! They stink”
“he says he’s right-handed…when I see it I’ll let him know”
“Dennis Smith not even here! Depression’s got him home”
You can’t recreate this. You can only have this type of passion if it’s your team. Being a life long Knicks fan has to be a miserable life. A life I want no part. Again, I’m not a Stephen A Smith guy. I think it’s a crime he’s an icon in the first place. I’ll give him this one. Well done. I have a feeling it won’t be the last time Stephen A rips the Knicks.
The Knicks will continue being the Knicks. It’s a tradition like no other. Imagine thinking Marcus Morris, Julius Randle, and Elfrid Payton was going to take you to the next level. It was an insane thought process. They conned the entire fan base that they were getting Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Hey, they did land Taj Gibson and Bobby Portis though. Nobody thought this team was going to be good. I mean nobody. It’s insane that that front office thought they would be significantly better. Now they’re throwing David Fizdale under the bus? I have new for you, Steve Mills. No coach is winning with this awful roster you put together.
