Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull, and next up are the Purdue Boilermakers Check out the last breakdown here.
There was no better way to start the 2020 season for Purdue. They beat one of the best teams in their conference, the Iowa Hawkeyes at home before beating Illinois on the road to start 2-0. Their week 3 game in Camp Randall was canceled, and the wheels fell off from that point on. The Boilermakers would go on to lose four straight games including an embarrassing loss to Rutgers at home.
Purdue was able to get their non-conference opponents back in the schedule so that gave them two relatively easy wins to start 2021 before playing Notre Dame. They host Illinois and Minnesota back to back with a chance to head into a rematch with Iowa boasting a 4-1 record.
The SimPurdue Boilermakers are at the bottom of the SimBull CFB market with a share price of $34.63. This puts them 47th overall and ahead of only 3 Big Ten Teams. The share price went up over three dollars right before the start of the CFB season, and those who owned the shares beforehand are happy. Not only did the share value rise, but they have already seen 2 dividends in the first month of the season.
The second half of their schedule is when things get tough for Purdue, but if they can keep it competitive against these much better programs, this price can continue to creep up.
