The Seattle Seahawks have gone from defense first, to Russell Wilson first, to a weird Brian Schottenheimer run
First Round (Pick 22) – The Seahawks need to rebuild that legion of boom. Grabbing a corner in the first round seems like a good place to start. Seattle likes those long corners. Greedy Williams fits that mold at 6-foot-2 and gives Seattle that Richard Sherman corner. Williams is much better in press and fits this defense. They may even be able to trade down to get Greedy if this is the route they go.
Third Round (Pick 85) – The Seahawks have no second round pick because of the Duane Brown trade in 2017. After losing Earl Thomas, the Seahawks need a safety. Juan Thornhill fits that mold. He tested off the charts at the combine with a crazy vertical. He also covers a ton of ground in the back end making up for those mistakes in coverage just as Thomas did. Even if it’s not Thornhill, Seattle needs to come out of this with a safety.
Seattle needs a ton of help. Another tight end could help. The Seahawks also need a pass rusher, defensive lineman, and a whole secondary. Russell Wilson needs more help. It’s incredible that they even made the postseason a year ago.
