Rat face Rich Paul is back in the news. The Anthony Davis trade sweepstakes never seem to end but it looks like the light at the end of the tunnel is at least within sight. Davis’ agent Rich Paul recently did an interview with S.L. Price of Sports Illustrated about his client. Danny Ainge better stop foaming at the mouth over the thought of Davis in green because it will be a pure rental. According to his agent, at least.
Paul confirms that he has warned off Boston management.
“They can trade for him, but it’ll be for one year,” Paul says. “I mean: If the Celtics traded for Anthony Davis, we would go there and we would abide by our contractual [obligations] and we would go into free agency in 2020. I’ve stated that to them. But in the event that he decides to walk away and you give away assets? Don’t blame Rich Paul.”
Why does Anthony Davis hate the Celtics so much? Remember that story a while back about hating the way they treated Isaiah Thomas? I’m starting to think it’s true. The only problem with that thought is that LeBron hit and quit IT real quick when he realized he was busted and worthless eventually being traded to the Lakers when Thomas refused to come off the bench. Kinda makes his reasoning for hating the Celtics the definitio of hypocritical but whatever.
Okay, sorry for the
I’m not saying he needs to want to play for the Celtics. However, the team teams on Davis’ list are the Knicks and Lakers. Statistically, they are the worst teams in the NBA the past 5 years. Take that however you want.
Someone needs to call Danny Ainge and give him a pep talk. Look,
