No one thought Nick Foles would eventually win a Super Bowl when he was drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. It turns out that draft pick would turn out to become maybe the most important in the history of the Eagles franchise after Foles gave Philadelphia their first Super Bowl championship. Super Bowl 52 MVP Nick Foles sat down with the infamous Ellen to talk about his future with the Eagles. Carson Wentz is coming back after all.

“My honest answer, all I want to do is be with my wife and my daughter. All that stuff will take care of it self. It’s a long season, we go through a lot, the family sacrifice is a lot, so being able to be at home and be present, to go on walks with my dog. Those little things, that’s what I look forward to. We’ll see what happens with my career.”

Ellen also had Foles go through a little throwing target practice in front of the live audience in the studio.

Foles, 29, is under contract for one more year with the Eagles. With the Eagles planning to go back to Carson Wentz for next season, Foles could be a possible trade target for quarterback-needy teams. Remember when Howie Roseman fetched a first and a fourth-round pick for that degenerate bum Sam Bradford? You better believe Roseman will do his best to try to lure a similar package from rival teams. Cleveland, Miami, Minnesota, Jacksonville, and much more really need to find an answer at the quarterback position.

The Eagles have been partying down in Philly at the parade but have already lost two key components to their coaching staff, Frank Reich and John DeFilippo. Their backup quarterback, Nick Foles, might also be on his way out.
