I have one question for the NFL Draft community. Why are all of you terrified of real competition? Read the full rant here! (Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports)

The NFL Draft Community Is Terrified Of Real Competition

Hi. Trey here. Can we just have an honest conversation about something? Feel free to watch my video below and then I’ll finish up what is a much-needed rant. I just want to know why the entire NFL Draft community is terrified of real competition.

I have a few thoughts to close here and will do so here below the embed. Although I’ll say if you haven’t read the embed, I’d recommend doing so because it really exposes the frauds in the mainstream media for who they are.

A: Scouting is about eliminating. Team building is about defining a standard of excellence and listing out a criteria for what you’re looking for. Not one NFL Draft “analyst” out there in this industry does that beyond myself. That right there should tell you everything you need to know.

When the FBI tracks serial killers, they don’t use the phonebook. They have a profile for what they’re looking for. If any serious government organization watched the way people scout NFL Draft players, they would laugh at them for being fruitcakes.

B: Why is everyone so concerned about making nice over being right? Why is nobody willing to place bets on who is more accurate post-draft? I say this all the time. Evaluate the evaluator. If you’re not doing that, how do you know who to trust?

C: Smart people learn from their mistakes. The smartest people learn from other people’s mistakes. I’ve had this chat with you before. The four types of scouts. When you listen to people speak, if you’re smart and educated in your approach, you can tell where that specific person includes uneducated bias into their argument.

D: Everyone wants to do these redrafts blasting GMs. Why doesn’t anyone want to do the same thing for the “analysts” covering the draft?

E: I’m convinced nobody who covers the draft played sports growing up. Nobody wants to compete.

F: Saying someone sucks is off limits despite the fact that half the league will decline the 5th-year option on the player they pick in the first round. Everyone is scared to stray from the pact and voice an educated opinion. What you’re supposed to do is pretend everyone in the draft is going to be a hit.

G: The fact that people respect Daniel Jeremiah when NFL Network is totally corrupt and his entire approach is passing out cupcakes and pretending everyone is wonderful while providing zero actual insight on the players… you know how trash this industry truly is.

I just want to know when this will change because for as long as it does, you will constantly be wrong and Trey will continue to dominate the accuracy of these prospects every single year.
