Never Pick Miles Sanders In Fantasy Football
If I can give you one piece of advice heading into your fantasy football draft, it’s that you should already cross Miles Sanders off your list before the draft ever begins. Let Sanders be someone else’s problem when it comes to fantasy football. NEVER and I mean NEVER draft Miles Sanders for your fantasy team.
In back-to-back years, Sanders has essentially burned anyone that’s drafted him. The former Penn State product was the only starting running back in the league without a rushing touchdown a year ago. The year before, Sanders was going in the first round of drafts and failed miserably. Why should we think 2022 is any different?
Want to hear the best part? Sanders is literally telling people not to pick him in fantasy. Sanders is clamoring for more touches in the offense but knows they’re not coming his way. Just look at the way he answers this question. Does this look like someone you should pick for your fantasy team?
“Don’t pick me up in fantasy no more; I really don’t care.” Those were the exact words spoken by Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders in a late-June interview with John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
What are we doing here? Sanders is currently rated as RB27 by FantasyPros which is a more reasonable cost but still outrageous. I’d much rather have Kenneth Gainwell for free later in drafts. What’s going to change this year? Jalen Hurts is steal going to steal the red zone work and Gainwell is only getting more involvement after a strong rookie season.
Don’t do it. There is no point. You’re only asking to lose. Until further notice, Miles Sanders remains on the Don’t Eat The Cheese list. I can’t imagine it will be any different as long as Sanders remains in this Eagles offense.
