A day after finding out that forward Taurean Prince had tested positive for Covid-19, the Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Michael Beasley.

Shams Charania of The Athletic was the first to report the signing.

Brooklyn’s addition of Beasley comes mere hours after Charania reported the team signed guard Jamal Crawford.

The 31-year-old Beasley remained unsigned throughout the 2019-20 season, having last suited up for the Lakers back on February 20th, 2019. He averaged 7.0 points per game to go along with 2.3 rebounds per game, both career lows.

With the additions of Crawford and Beasley, the Nets roster going into the restart, barring another signing or a player dropping out, is as follows:

Guards

  • Caris LeVert
  • Jamal Crawford
  • Chris Chiozza
  • Garrett Temple
  • Tyler Johnson
  • Jeremiah Martin

Forward

  • Joe Harris
  • Rodions Kurucs
  • Dzanan Musa
  • Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot
  • Justin Anderson
  • Michael Beasley

Center

  • Jarrett Allen

Brooklyn kicks off their restart campaign on July 31st against the Orlando Magic.
