Yesterday’s Pick of the Day cashed due to a horrific Overtime from the Cavaliers getting outscored 20-4…

I like tonight’s slate a lot… going to be posting all plays on my twitter tonight!

Plays from yesterday

Boston Celtics @ Orlando Magic 7 pm ET

Even though the Celtics have not been consistent against the spread, I expect them to dominate this game. Orlando is hurt and has won their last two games. So I expect them to be feeling better than we expect, but once Boston slaps them around with their tough defense, I expect Orlando to fall off. Boston has played Orlando twice this season, winning both times by 16 and 27 points. It’s a simple pick at the end of the day, Boston hasn’t been good with closing bad teams out so today is a good test for them to do so. Brown is out but Boston will have Walker and Tatum.

1 Unit Pick: Celtics -11

Portland Trailblazers @ Cleveland Cavaliers 7 pm ET

Cleveland Cleveland Cleveland… OH, MAN. This Cavaliers team is something else, they play a good tight game against the Suns yesterday, and then once they get to OT, only score 4 points and don’t cover +12.5. If you rode the Suns spread with me, I apologize for the sweat but it cashed somehow. Tonight is a similar take, they should be exhausted after the Overtime game last night. Darius Garland remains out so it will be Collin Sexton battling the 3 headed monster of Lillard, McCollum, and Powell. Should be a big night for Kanter and Nurkic as well.

Isaac Okoro played 47 minutes and Cedi Osman played 45 minutes last night

.5 Unit Pick: Portland -11.5

Memphis Grizzlies @ Minnesota Timberwolves 8 pm ET

Memphis is way better than their record in their shows, they have lost 4 out of their last 5 even with the return of Jaren Jackson Jr. They need to start piecing wins together in these last few games so they can make the play-in tournament, while Minnesota is playing for incentives after being eliminated from playoff contention. Ja played terribly against the Knicks, and tonight against the Wolves’ 28th ranked defense, is a great chance to get back on track. Jaren Jackson Jr and Jonas Valunciunas against Karl Anthony-Towns will be a fun matchup down low, KAT has been on a tear recently and against two solid big men, it will be a good test.

1 Unit Pick: Grizzlies -3.5

New York Knicks @ Denver Nuggets 9 pm ET

(PICK OF THE DAY)

I am excited for this one, New York has been one of the hottest teams in the league. 12 wins out of their last 13 games, 15-1 ATS in the last 16 games, and 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games. Denver is 15-19 ATS at home this season and 2-6 ATS when favored in their last 8 when favored. Insane numbers by a team that continues to put the league at notice. Denver has been great without Jamal Murray, MPJ stepping up getting over 20 a game while Jokic is just being Jokic. The reason why I’m backing the Knicks tonight mainly is Derrick Rose and this Knicks bench. New York is 21-8 with Derrick Rose and Denver will remain without Barton, Dozier, and Morris. Denver plays very slow and that should benefit the Knick’s top 3 defense. Denver also has few ball handlers so I expect Denver to have at least 10 turnovers with minimal ball-handling and playmaking.

PLAY OF THE DAY (2 Units): Knicks +4

1.5 Units: Knicks MoneyLine

Lean to Over 215.5 because I think Thibs will try and push the pace of this game with both the starters and bench unit.

Power Parlay

Knicks +4, Grizzlies -3.5.
