Picks on Friday 4-30 all hit! check here: NBA Plays of the Day 4-30-21

Orlando Magic @ Detroit Pistons 7 pm ET

Most of the people watching this game will be sports betters and the rest will be the few, the proud and the brave Magic and Pistons fans. Cole Anthony bailed out the Magic last game with a game-winning 3 point shot to beat the Grizzlies. But that doesn’t give me the confidence yet to call him “reliable”. He will become a stud in the league and will have the most potential on the court tonight, but it will be a tough task for him to help this injured Magic squad to a win. Detroit on the other hand will be facilitated by Saddiq Bey and Josh Jackson. Two guys who tend to play well when Jeremi Grant sits out.

PICK: This game is a trap, stay away. If I had to make a choice, Pistons would be the team. They have been good at dealing with lower tier teams at home.

DET: Josh Jackson 20+ Points, Josh Jackson Under 10 Reb + Ast, Saddiq Bey 3 3PM, Saddiq Bey Over 15 Points, Isiah Stewart 11 Rebounds.

ORL: Cole Anthony Over 16 Points, Dwayne Bacon Over 2 3PM.

Portland Trailblazers @ Atlanta Hawks 8 pm ET

As I am writing this, the Portland Trailblazers had to be evacuated from their hotel in Atlanta due to a Tornado nearby. I’m not sure how this will affect their pregame routines and such, but I still slightly back them over the Hawks tonight. Portland is 4-0 in their last 4 games as an underdog and 5-1 ATS in their last 6. Atlanta will be with everyone except Hunter and Reddish. I give the edge to Portland, they have been playing some of their best basketball these last few games, and Portland needs this win in hopes of steering clear of the play-in tournament. Atlanta needs a win tonight too, but there are just too many scoring options on Portland that will outmatch them. With less than 10 games left for each of these teams, we will definitely see some playoff energy even though Portland played last night.

My logic is that Damian Lillard will be angry because he couldn’t take his pregame nap due to the Tornado situation.

PICK: Portland as the plus money dogs tonight.

Damian Lillard for 35+ Points

Indiana Pacers @ Washington Wizards 7 pm ET

The Over/Under is set at 245.5, and in the last two seasons that number has been reached 9 times. I’ll take my chances with those odds with the Under. As for the game, Indiana will be without Myles Turner while Jeremy Lamb, Goga Bitadze, Malcolm Brogdon are Questionable. This game is very important to both teams, Washington currently sitting in the 10th seed 3 games behind Indiana. I have been a fan of the Pacers all year long as I had high hopes for them early, but the Wizards should be able to hold them off tonight, especially if Brogdon is Out. If he plays, then I will happily take Pacers +4.

PICK: Wizards MoneyLine is a good play, I also like Wizards -1.5 (Buy 2.5 Points), IF Brogdon PLAYS Pacers +4 is my play for this game. Under 245.5 as well.

IND: It’s Domantas Sabonis’ birthday… So 25+ Points, 11+ Rebounds, and 6+ Assists.

WAS: Beal 31+ Points, Westbrook 13+ Rebounds.

Westbrook and Beal 30 points each.

Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Lakers 10 pm ET

LeBron reaggravated his ankle last night and will miss tonight’s game and Dennis Schroder will also miss 10-14 days due to Health and Safety Protocols. Los Angeles is really struggling now, dropping down to 6th in the Western Conference. A similar scene happened last year prior to the NBA Bubble, and then they ended up winning the whole thing so we will see how that unfolds, but they need to make some sort of run before the season ends to get their confidence back up as well as rise in the standings. A first-round matchup against the Nuggets or Clippers would be the last thing they wanted. Denver has been exceptional since Jamal Murray got injured, 9-1 in their last 10. It’s hard not to take them against a struggling Lakers team.

PICK: Nuggets -5.5, BUT Buy 3 points and get it to -2.5 for the safe play.

This is my favorite pick out of the NBA Plays of the Day.

DEN: Jokic Triple Double, MPJ 3 3PM, Jokic Over 8 Ast, Jokic Over 9 Reb.

New York Knicks @ Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis will be looking to redeem themselves after Cole Anthony dropped that 3 point dagger on them Saturday night but it will not be easy as they are facing a Knicks team who has won 11 out of their last 12 games. Memphis is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and knowing how aggressively this Knicks defense gives New York the edge. Jaren Jackson Jr will be a tough matchup for the Knick’s big men but they have been up to the challenge all season long. Nerlens Noel is questionable so we will see who will start against the combo of Jaren Jackson Jr and Jonas Valunciunas. Yes I am a Knicks fan, but even if I wasn’t it would be hard to bet against this team, ESPECIALLY as plus money underdogs.

PICK: Knicks +3.5 or Knicks MoneyLine.

(Knicks Player Props are my most accurate of all teams)

NYK: Julius Randle 6+ Ast, 23+ Points, RJ Barrett 2 3PM, RJ Barrett 3 Ast, Reggie Bullock 3 3PM, Derrick Rose 14+ Points, Derrick Rose 4+ Assists,

MEM: Ja Morant 18+ Points, Jonas Valunciunas 15+ Points, Ja Morant 2 3PM
