We are back with another edition of Burroughs’ Burning MMA Questions! There is an incredible card coming up this weekend in UFC 262, so I wanted to get yall’s questions and answer the best I could. We only have one question this week, but it’s all good. Let’s not wait around any more and get right into this edition of the MMA Mailbag.

Best Bets From MMA Mailbag

I will break this question down two ways: the best bet of the weekend and my sure-fire lock pick. Betting first, of course. A sneaky pick I may throw money on is Edson Barboza x Shane Burgos (Fight to end in first 60 seconds) +1400. Barboza and Burgos are more than willing to throw absolute bombs at one another, and if you told me one fight ends inside a minute, this would be my guess. My best bet is a confusing one for me because my heart wants to pick Tony Ferguson to win this weekend and snap his 2-fight losing streak, but I think I will take Beneil Dariush -165. Ferguson just hasn’t looked the same recently and I am afraid, as a fight fan, that his time may be coming to an end.

Sure-Fire Pick

My sure-fire lock for this weekend from my MMA Mailbag is Michael Chandler over Charles Oliviera. I have been dead wrong on Michael Chandler before, and after watching him dismantle Dan Hooker in his UFC debut back in January I just can’t pick against him here. Listen, I understand Oliviera is riding an 8-fight win streak and is fighting the best he ever has in his career, but it’s hard betting against a multiple-time world champion. Before I had mentioned my love for this Chandler pick on Kriegs Korner, and I am riding with it here as well. Hammer Chandler/Moneyline here, and if you really wanted to spice things up, bet Chandler/Winning Group of Rounds 3-4 (+1000).
