He became one of the most influential figures in the sport having represented players for decades. Furthermore, he was a big personality, and beloved all across the world and the sport. It is incredibly unfortunate to see such a well-known and successful figure pass away at only 54 years old.

Only days earlier, the agent posted on Twitter. In signature Raiola style, he hit back at tabloids and journalists that prematurely said that he had died. Sadly, this news is true. Reports initially surfaced that he was “fighting for his life” with an illness. Not much more came out until the false headlines.
