Max Pacioretty Now Deemed Utterly Worthless?
Does anybody want the glass man? Any takers for that bum Max Pacioretty? Now that the Carolina Hurricanes are eliminated from postseason contention, Pacioretty will hit the open market after finishing up a contact worth $28 million over the last four years. Of course, Pacioretty played a total of 92 games over the last three years.
Now that Pacioretty is available, will Carolina bring him back? Will another team try to pony up for his services? AFP Analytics projected future contracts for all the pending free agents for the NHL offseason. You can see for yourself. It’s available right here. The projections are not kind to the glass man.
AFP projects that Pacioretty will be forced to sign a deal for one year at $1.5 million. The guy never plays anyway so maybe he should just do us all a favor and retire. After tearing his Achilles for a second time in a six month span, maybe the glass man should just call it quits.
Does anybody actually feel any sort of sympathy for the glass man? Nobody should forget about his ignorant comments made about VGK. Keep in mind, a team that’s gotten better without him and is on the verge of reaching the Stanley Cup Finals. Karma sucks…

If Pacioretty wants to keep playing I’m sure a contender will take him for the minimum but that appears to be his only option at this stage.
