LostNUnbound Returns to YouTube After Lengthy Hiatus

Gregory Fuller, known to his 1.69 million subscribers as LostNUnbound or LNU, was once a fixture of the NBA YouTube community with his loud, energetic videos. Back in April 2020, he vanished from the platform with no explanation shortly after uploading a video titled “7 Greatest Freaks of Nature in NBA History.” Theories abounded as to where LNU had gone. Some posited that a 2016 controversy may have had something to do with it, one where LNU was exposed for mistreating his editors. Today, LostNUnbound posted a video for the first time in nearly three years, titled “What Happened To Me.” Here’s what LNU had to say about his hiatus:

“You’re probably wondering what happened to me. Guys, I got sick. I got diagnosed with bipolar disorder and chronic depression. I think it’s safe to say that mental illness has been kicking me in the butt a little bit lately. Not just lately, but for the last few years.”

LostNUnbound goes on to say that although he is still sick, he plans to make a comeback. He recounts how sitting down to come up with new video ideas made him happier than he had been in a long time. YouTube was something that brought him consistent joy. He believes making videos again will help him continue to work through his illness.

Having put the theories to rest, LostNUnbound is back on YouTube. His announcement video has racked up over 200,000 views as of this writing. The comment section is full of fans offering words of encouragement and support. Regardless of what type of content he makes going forward, it is great for NBA YouTube to have one of its former stars back in action.
