Jackson wrote a message to Ravens fans and revealed he requested a trade on March 2nd

The Lamar Jackson in Baltimore may be coming to an end sooner than we expected. The MVP QB has requested a trade from the Baltimore Ravens, as he revealed on his Twitter.

Jackson has been the talk of free agency this year, especially his contract negotiations. Earlier to this free agency, the Baltimore Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson. Meaning other teams can send offer sheets to the Ravens for the MVP QB. But outside of getting tagged, Jackson wants a new contract badly, hence him requesting a trade from Baltimore. Jackson has taken his mouth to Twitter in the past. Now he is using it to thank the fans of Baltimore and publicly revealing what went down on March 2nd.

“In regards to my future plans. As of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens has not been interested in meeting my value, any and everyone that’s has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team,” Via Jackson’s Twitter.

Jackson also wrote a message to Baltimore Ravens Fans on his Twitter. “I want to first thank you all for all of the love and support you consistently show towards me. All of you are amazing and I appreciate y’all so much. I want you all to know not to believe everything you read about me. Let me personally answer your questions.” Via Jackson’s Twitter.

Baltimore Ravens fan and Vendetta Sports Media Founder Trey Daubert has once again made his comments on the Jackson situation. Safe to say, Trey was happy to see Jackson potentially getting out of town. Feel free to check out Trey’s thoughts on his Twitter on Lamar Jackson.

As of right now, agreeing with Trey’s point, Jackson has no leverage in this situation. He requests a trade and is under the non-exclusive tag. What leverage does he have on the Ravens? None. They still won’t pay him if he sits out, or if he keeps whining. The Ravens don’t have that type of money right now.

Stay tuned with Vendetta for more enticing news on Jackson’s situation as it unfolds.
