Joe Harris Is A Top 5 Shooter In The NBA

Joe Harris got PAID, for good reason. He’s one of the best shooters in the NBA. The NBA has transitioned to shooters. Shooters are essential to team success, that reason can be attributed to Steph Curry revolutionizing the NBA with 3s. Now shooters get paid in the NBA. Harris got paid 4 years for 75 million. That’s just where we are in the NBA now.

In the NBA last season, he is 7th in 3P% with 42.4%, however, he had the 4th most 3PA with those ahead of him in percentage. That already puts him in the top 5 for me for shooters in the NBA. This season, although early, is averaging 51.5% shooting from 3. That’s good enough for 7th at the start of the season. However, with those that are ahead of him in terms of percentage, he averages the most attempts out of them. That definitely offsets him being the 7th in percentage. For the number of attempts that he has, he is the most efficient 3 point shooter if you factor in attempts and percentage combined.

I won’t say Joe Harris is the best shooter in the NBA, that would just be erroneous. However, I think Joe Harris should be respected as a top 5 shooter in the NBA, no doubt. If he’s not in your top 5 in the league today, he has to be close. Unequivocally, he should be considered a top 10 shooter by everyone. Put some respect on his name. The NBA has made shooters valuable in the NBA and the price is just going to keep going up.
