Going for two parleys in a row tonight, and the card is deep!

San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies 7:30 pm ET

Although it could end up be a battle, there are just too many trends backing up Memphis. The Grizzlies are a top-five offense in the paint while the Spurs sport a bottom-five paint defense. San Antonio carries the coaching edge with legend Gregg Popovich, but Memphis has more consistent depth while the Spurs rely more on streaky players like Patty Mills, Trey Lyles, and Rudy Gay. Memphis should also look to push the pace tonight and force the Spurs to run with them. To conclude, the Spurs only won the first meeting of the season behind DeRozan going off with 28 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, but in the next two meetings, Dillon Brooks locked down DeRozan and Memphis won both games.

PICK: Over 223.5. Lean Grizzlies win but never underestimate the power of Coach Pop. Going to throw Spurs +4 on top of everything to ideally win either way.

Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers 10 pm ET

The Lakers are coming into this play-in game with Lebron James and Anthony Davis good to go, so back them in this one. The time has once again come where the public forgets what Lebron James can do in the NBA postseason. The Lakers have the best defense in the league, and when healthy they are longer, more athletic, and have more playoff experience than the Warriors roster. Stephen Curry is going to score plenty with Draymond Green distributing and playing great defense, but will Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, or Juan Tuscano-Anderson be able to rise to the occasion? That remains to be seen. Another underrated aspect of the Lakers is Dennis Schröder’s defense on Curry. Schröder held Curry to his fourth-lowest points per game average per team when the Warriors and Lakers battled regular season, so the Lakers should be set to win if he can replicate that success.

PICK: Lakers ML, Lakers 1H -3.

Washington Capitals at Boston Bruins 6:30 pm ET

The first two games in DC were decided in overtime, and there is no reason that trend should not continue. The Bruins are 8-1 in their past nine games at home, but the Capitals are a very capable road team and they are 10-3 in their last 13 games in Boston. Caps backup goalie Anderson has been great and his postseason stats are solid as can be: .992 save % and 2.34 goals allowed average. He is rested beause he has not played all season, so the Capitals should keep it close and could even pull off a win on the road.

PICK: Capitals +1.5 or Boston to win outright.

People’s Parlays:
