ish's picks and plays

Ish’s Picks and Player Props are on a tear! 15 out of 17 picks have cashed this week, 5 out of 6 plays last night. We are having a great week, so let’s keep riding this hot streak! For anyone who takes my picks or even looks at them, I just want to say thank you, and I appreciate the support. I love breaking down sports and especially making money for people! I’m going to strive to keep getting better at it. There will be hot weeks like this, and there will be cold weeks that we haven’t seen too much of yet (knock on wood). Just know it’s an up and down thing, so we have to stay focused. If you have any questions about any of my picks or your own picks, just hit me up on my Twitter. Below are my plays and leans for 5-27-21.

Shorter write up today as there is not much juice tonight. I got you guys with a bunch of action tomorrow!

Milwaukee Bucks vs Miami Heat

Milwaukee is the better team in this series, and they have been dominant while we haven’t even seen Giannis have a great game yet. He’s played solid, but I think either tonight or in Game 4 he goes for a 30 point triple-double or a 40 piece. Milwaukee surpassed their Game 1 total of 3’s by the end of the first quarter in Game 2 and finished with 22 total. Miami will come out strong tonight, but I just don’t think they can hang with the Bucks in the long run. Miami should win the first quarter and even halftime, but I expect the depth of the Bucks and Miami’s offensive inconsistency to lead to a Milwaukee win tonight in Miami.

PICK: Bucks -1.5 (5-27-21 Pick of the Day)

Player Props: Donte DiVincenzo Over 5.5 Rebounds, Giannis 3’s made, play 1 by 1 if the odds are good.

Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers

This game is a coin flip. Chris Paul will be playing for the Suns, but as you could see in Game 2, he is definitely feeling that shoulder injury. He was struggling to shoot free throws and layups in the pregame warmup. I don’t have official plays for this game, just two leans.

Lean to Over 210, I don’t think it is possible for them to play a slower game than Game 2. Lean to Lakers to cover -6.5.

Player Props: LeBron James Over 1.5 3PM, Andre Drummond Over 9.5 Rebounds (light)

Denver Nuggets vs Portland Trailblazers

Portland won 1 of 2 in Denver and that’s a success. They got steamrolled in Game 2 because they had over 20 turnovers, which is unlike them. Lillard and McCollum can’t be contained by the Nuggets, but when they give the ball up that much, it’s bound to happen. Give me Portland to win tonight and go back up 2-1 in the series.

PICK: Portland -1.5 Buy 2 points, if you can’t then ride Moneyline. (5-27-21 Pick of the Day)

Player Props: McCollum over 2.5 3PM, Nikola Jokic Over 6.5 Assists.

Montreal Canadiens vs Toronto Maple Leafs

Montreal hasn’t been able to do shit against the Maple Leafs on offense all series. The only game they have scored more than 1 goal was Game 1, and they only hit 2. The only way Montreal has a chance in this game is to keep it low scoring and hope for a 2-1 or 3-1 game. Toronto knows they got the Oilers waiting for them in the next round and will finish this series tonight.

PICK: Maple Leafs Moneyline, ALSO Under 5.5 Total Goals. Lean Maple Leafs -1.5.

Nashville Predators vs Carolina Hurricanes

Nashville plays really good at home, but I don’t think they have enough left in the tank to beat the Hurricanes in 2 more games. Carolina is more skilled and the main reason Nashville has kept it so close is their goalie Juuse Saros, who has been one of the best goalies in the playoffs. Who knows how much longer he will be able to hold this team down, but my guess is that it ends tonight.

PICK: Hurricanes Moneyline. (5-27-21 Pick of the Day)
