I Would Like To Release A Statement On The Tann Saga, If I May
In case you have been living under a rock recently, there has been a massive ongoing saga between Tann and certain individuals here at Vendetta Sports Media. The Tann saga, if you will. For a little backstory, a few weeks back, Jackson Law took an episode off to take his family on a little vacation to the beach, can’t hate the man for taking his family out of town. During that episode, Tann had on intern Jiarmani to fill in as host, which I produced. After the show was over, Tann just ups and decides that it will be a three-man booth without consulting Jackson about it. Well…some of us here at Vendetta took exception to that. From there, there have been a lot of words said both in slack and even on an episode of cheese.
After the dust has settled from the last few weeks, it has come out that Bryan Tann will be leaving the company after his most recent kerfuffle with Gavin in the chat about a Twitter bio (remember this part, that becomes important). I learned this from the emergency cheese episode that came out today. And, well, to be honest, I feel slightly responsible for starting all this. I first informed Trey of all this in real-time before it was even dropped (and subsequently removed) from the chat that the show would become a three-man booth. I was pissed for Jackson (who has since moved on from the Tann show, which no longer exists, which we will get to later as well, and will be starting his own NBA-based podcast. Cant wait, Jackson), and told some people who I am close with at the site about it, and it grew legs from there.
Maybe we were all a little too hard on Tann. This whole Tann saga might not have been a thing if we just did was Tann asked and just went to him “like a man” and discussed this privately. I guess we could have handled this whole thing differently. Maybe if we weren’t so passionate about defending our friend Jackson (I guess to the point of dick-riding) and just heard all sides of the story first, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Maybe we could’ve taken it a little easier on Tann. I had no idea he was such a delicate little flower. Now we know! But, the fact remains that Tann had his Tanntrum, quit, and we will never have the opportunity to make things right.
I would just like to take the chance to apologize…

How fucking charming soft do you have to be to throw a fit about someone telling you to change your Twitter bio? You are a grown-ass man and you are out here acting like you didn’t get to go outside and enjoy recess with all the other kids and you had to stay inside. Come on, Tann! You are the head of HR for fucks sake and you are out here embarrassing yourself! It’s honestly embarrassing to watch as well. This heel turn by Gavin has been great to watch because he took boatloads of shit-talk from Trey about the fantasy hockey stuff, and he took it on the chin. Need proof? Here’s some. One more? Chickster, well he is going to talk shit for the hell of it. Even Scott got in on the action to some extent, writing a whole-ass post defending Jackson! I guarantee you if you talk shit to them three, or myself even I have been at the forefront of some wars in chats as well, we are going to take it but give it right back. We aren’t soft. We aren’t children. The actions by one childish Tann were an embarrassment to his company and truly shows that this was not a good fit.
I am seeing the board right now. I called that the Tanndemonium Sports Show would not exist in 2023, but man, I had no idea it would barely last the middle part of the year! Such a shame too, because it was a real view-getter for the company Twitch and YouTube.
I have zero sympathies for this whole situation. None whatsoever. I do not care who you are at this company, no one is above getting a little shit talk thrown their way. Trey get’s in there and get’s some of it too! How is one person above everyone else here? You can miss me with that. To the former Tann saga, I say don’t let the door hit you on the way out. This company is going places, and if you don’t have the brainpower to realize that, or if you actually do and quit anyway? This wasn’t right for you.
