Hockey Guy Trey Goes For Fantasy Glory: 2023 Finals, Week 2
It’s over. Hockey Guy Trey has done it. After a strong and confident first week, team Icing Daubert will be victorious once again. The fantasy hockey three peat has been clinched.
I have also announced my retirement from fantasy hockey. I’ll continue to produce content to help you out but I’m out until someone cuts me a check to do their rankings. You have my evidence. You have my resume. Trey is the best. I’ll be back at some point but I am on hiatus for now.
What matters is we dominated again. The final score is 611.4-401.8 in favor of team Icing Daubert. We went out with a bang. I’m not sure if this team was better than the one I had the year before. It’s definitely better than the team we sported year one but we didn’t have a clue what we were doing at that draft. It was still good enough to win.
We also exposed Sean Allen this year. Beat the piss out of him too. Made ESPN’s fantasy hockey department look like the clown show they are too. What a year it was. The highlight video for that will be coming soon. I’m not sure anybody has clowned another network worse than this but frankly it’s embarrassing how badly I destroyed them.
Anyway, for the remainder of the post we’ll show you the box score and let you see the final roster. This was such a fun season but somehow it got boring because I feel like Michael Jordan punking kids. I just want some competition!
Not pictured are my finishing goalies who rocked in the playoffs (Stuart Skinner, Jack Campbell, Laurent Brossoit, and Logan Thompson).
