Hockey Guy Trey Goes For Fantasy Glory: 2023 Semi-Finals, Week 2
The three-peat is still on. To no one’s surprise, Hockey Guy Trey is advancing to the 2023 Fantasy Hockey Finals once again. Our opponent will be Jerry Walker, but first, let me quickly recap what went down this week. The Semi-Finals was a nice warmup for what’s to come.
Team Icing Daubert won this week 454.7-243.3. The team is showing up when it matters most. It’s been the collection of parts that’s leading us to such high scoring outputs. Also, yes, I’m fully aware no video this week. However, this thing has been over since day two so I didn’t feel like it was necessary to pile on. The videos will resume on Monday.
Connor McDavid keeps doing his thing. David Pastrnak just scored goal 50 on the season as I’m writing this. Sasha Barkov is helping carry the Panthers toward a playoff spot. Even Jack Eichel and the rest of the VGK members I have are heating up.
The roster heading into the finals looks very similar to the one we started with so no real updates on that front. We even have some extra guys stashed on IR to use as daily streamers for when the games really count this upcoming week.
Just so everyone is looped in, this will be the plan for the Finals. The daily videos will drop now that we’re in the finals. They last for two weeks so you’re getting a bunch of HGT reactions. Let’s hope for goals upon goals so you can get the best reactions possible.
