EA Sports College Football Will Focus On Dynasty Mode
Maximum Football might have just received a death blow today. The OG readers of the site already knew that was the case before. Today it’s official. It sure looks like the upcoming EA Sports College Football game is taking the right steps toward putting a quality product out there.
A day after announcing that they were letting FBS players opt into the 2024 iteration of the game, it has also been leaked that dynasty mode will be the direct focus of the game. Just overall fantastic news. The Ultimate Team losers can continue to play 2K instead. Dynasty Mode is being marketed as the “flagship” game mode for EA Sports College Football.
“[Dyansty Mode] is where a LOT of the energy is being spent on development right now,” according to Extra Points’ Matt Brown, a reliable reporter on EA Sports College Football. EA vice president and GM Daryl Holt previously said Dynasty Mode is something the development team is “passionately focused on.”
We are a year away from getting a real college football video game again. Who isn’t excited about hearing that? We all know why it was canceled but NIL has made this all possible again. The EA Sports CFB game is scheduled to return in the Summer of 2024 with the last iteration of the game being 11 years ago. Now that we know dynasty mode is confirmed, that aspect of building a team up to National Championship contention is guaranteed to bring gamers back to the product.
