Shannon Sharpe and Dillon Brooks continue feud after Grizzlies and Lakers game

Oh, do I have the story for you. Dillon Brooks takes shots at TV personality and NFL Hall-of-Famer Shannon Sharpe after Sharpe barked at the Grizzlies team during the game, according to theScore.

All season long, the Grizzlies have been running their mouths when they’re up during games and talking a lot of smack. This includes Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks, and even Morant’s dad; Tee Morant. Or the Usher lookalike.

Brooks continued to make comments post game about the incident according to theScore. “I ain’t talking about that,” Brooks said of his heated exchange with Sharpe, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “You can ask him. He’s the blogger or whatever he is. I don’t really care about all that. Next question.”

Sharpe made comments to Brooks as the halftime buzzer sounded, leading to the confrontation between the team and Sharpe to unravel. Almost all the Grizzlies bench, including Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks, stampeded towards Sharpe. If it wasn’t for Grizzly’s center, Steven Adams, it could’ve gotten uglier. As he and law enforcement held back Brook’s teammates before any fist to cuffs happened.

Of course, the GOAT LeBron James backed behind Sharpe after the game with this quote. “I mean, I ride with Shannon for 365 days, 366 on a leap year, 24/7,” James said post-game. “So that’s my guy. So I’ll always have his back, and he’s got mine. He can talk with the best of them, for sure.” Via theScore.

My opinion on this: How can you not hate the Grizzlies?

As this situation died down, fans had the time to process what they just witnessed. Whether they watched at home, at the bars, or anywhere. I think every NBA fan except one’s in Memphis can agree that the Grizzlies players are the most unlikeable people in the NBA. Especially superstar point guard Ja Morant and role player Dillon Brooks. These two have been loud-mouthing the league ever since they joined the association, and they couldn’t be liked any less. They talk the most crap and can never back it up and it bites them back into the behind. So with that being said, I applaud you, Shannon Sharpe. Hats off to you, my friend.
