DeAndre Jordan looks to be headed to the Dallas Mavericks as of now. Of course, we all know how that turned out last time.  According to Marc Stein, his contract is close to the $24.1 million that his player option was worth with the LA Clippers. He declined that option earlier this week.

If this is a 1-year contract as reported, I like the move for Dallas. They clearly want to win now and Jordan can be a valuable piece to help them do just that. A longterm deal would worry me for a player like Jordan that relies so heavily on his athleticism.
