Former Steelers pass rusher Jarvis Jones has never quite lived up to the hype as a former first round pick in 2013 from Georgia. The former 13th overall pick will now find a new home as he is expected to sign with the Arizona Cardinals. NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport has reported the news.

The Cardinals have taken some hits on the defense losing Alex Okafor to the Saints, Calais Campbell to the Jaguars, and Tony Jefferson to the Ravens. Jarvis Jones will provide some quality depth opposite of Chandler Jones who just landed a monster contract extension.
Jones has struggled to develop as a quality pass rusher only notching 6 sacks in his 4-year career. He started 9 games this past season and recorded a career-high 43 tackles. Pro Football Focus graded Jones as the 49th best edge rusher in 2016 mainly because he grades positively in run defense. He will provide great depth in run defense for the Cardinals on 1st and 2nd down situations.
