Brandon Ingram Discredits LeBron James to Praise Zion Williamson

Brandon Ingram Insulted LeBron James recently in a post-game media conference when asked about Zion Williamson potential saying

“I’ve never played with a player as talented as me. And he’s a generational Talent”

Brandon Ingram

Now Ingram is entitled to his opinion and the one-time All-Star is probably very used to being the best player on his teams throughout his career. While Zion Williamson very well may be a generational talent already possessing averages in the second year of his career of 25.3 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, and 3.2 assists per game on an uber-efficient 62% from the field. Zion is one of the most popular players in the NBA and looks on track to be a great player for a long time already breaking records like most field goal attempts without a make in a single game but there is one problem with his statement. Brandon Ingram Insulted LeBron James by giving that quote.

Brandon Ingram’s Relationship with LeBron James

Brandon Ingram played with LeBron James during the 2018-2019 NBA season. You know, the same LeBron James that is currently third on the All-Time scoring list and still averaging 25.6 points per game to go along with 8.1 rebounds and 8 assists per game at the age of 36. If that isn’t talented I don’t know what is Brandon Ingram. Although Ingram and LeBron weren’t exactly the closest of teammates when they played together.

LeBron James made it pretty clear he didn’t come to the Lakers to be mediocre and that’s what they were that season. Ingram and many other young Laker players were shipped off to New Orleans for superstar power forward Anthony Davis which resulted in a championship. That definitely rubbed Ingram the wrong way and with this new comment about the talents of his current and past teammates we are completely sure of it now. While Zion Williamson is a great player in his own right, Brandon knows what he was doing there discrediting LeBron James’s abilities and his accomplishments.
