Bill Simmons Owes Kings Fans An Apology For His Fake Trade Fetish
At some point is anyone other than me going to hold this man accountable? The man who gets horny off the trade machine, Bill Simmons, owes the Kings’ fanbase an apology. No, this trade proposal wasn’t illegal like the last one. However, I’d argue what he did to Kings fans is worse. No one should ever forget this one.
What a joke. Let me first start by saying none of this is hindsight bias. Trey’s thoughts are valid because he is smart. Peep our first edition of the power rankings. I had the Kings ranked higher than the Timberwolves. Because anyone that had a shred of intelligence knew that was the case. It turns out even I was too low on the Kings. Sacramento is the third seed in the West as things stand right now (30-23). De’Aaron Fox has had a lot to do with it.
NBC Sports Bay Area also wrote a piece on how ridiculous this trade offer was at the time. Fox should be an All-Star this year and is averaging 24.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists on 50.5% shooting. He also is the orchestrator of the NBA’s number one scoring offense in the league. Fox’s speed and ability to attack in transition is half of what makes Sacramento so good. The other half is Kevin Huerter’s addition.
Can you imagine if the Kings actually did this? Based on their past history, it may have been a trade that gets the franchise exiled from the league. That’s Bill Simmons for you. He’s an old horny man on the internet that runs his mouth after creaming himself one too many times while using the trade machine. It’s unbelievable anybody takes this guy seriously.
Russell Westbrook is on the verge of being traded away along with two first rounders for the pile of poo that is D’Angelo Russell. The great people of Sacramento shouldn’t forget about it. This great season almost turned into a Westbrook year for the Kings. They deserve an apology by Simmons for he tried to take it all away.
The only thing that I truly ask is that we start treating Simmons the way that he acts. A guy that needs help. A guy that needs to put in a rehab center that restricts his use of the trade machine. It’s gotta be affecting his health at this point. I’m worried about him.
