Well, well, well, one of the least surprising stories of the NFL season are the struggles of the Chargers and Bears. Both teams where I took the under for wins. Both the Bears and Chargers are screwed. One team has a mitigated disaster at quarterback who the team traded up for. The other team has a running back coach running the show. It’s almost like they’re perfect for each other. Anthony Lynn and Mitch Trubisky. Both flat out suck.
It’s no surprise that Anthony Lynn loved Mitch Trubisky coming out of North Carolina. Lynn claimed that he saw some Aaron Rodgers qualities in Mitch in college. What an idiot!
Chargers coach Anthony Lynn liked Mitch Trubisky when he came out of North Carolina.
“Just watching him on the field, he made throws, he had a quick release,” Lynn said Tuesday. “He reminded me sometimes of Aaron Rodgers, the way he moved around. If he ever got in a bind, he could create. I thought he had the total package.”
Lynn had one person to thank for added insight: the boy he used to pay to mow his lawn.
It’s no secret why the Chargers are 2-5. This roster is loaded. Why do they suck? Look no further than Anthony Lynn. The man who has been a running back coach for 30 years. There’s a reason why he was a running back coach forever. The guy is CLUELESS. I would have been shocked if Lynn didn’t love him coming out of college.
At this point, I’m so done with patting myself on the back here. It’s getting annoying. This Trubisky thing never made any sense. It’s why I graded him out as a 6th round prospect. The guy sucks. He sucked in college too. Good hell, if you didn’t know that before this year, seek help.
Looks like we have an idiot bowl on our hands Sunday. The dopes who drafted Mitch Trubisky vs. the idiots that thought Anthony Lynn thought he could coach. May the slightly smarter organization win!
