I Am Jealous Of Nick Lachey
If you could be any other person in the world, who would you be? I’ve never had a strong answer to this question. However, I think I found a really underrated choice that some should consider. Nick Lachey has it made and we should all be a little jealous of the life he’s created for himself.
I don’t care about any of the music stuff or whatever. Let’s talk about what he’s doing with Netflix. He’s got an incredible woman by his side and then gets to travel from city to city recording these hilarious shows. Not doing anything other than having a few one liners and watching people make complete and utter fools out of themselves.
Nick and Vanessa host Love is Blind, The Ultimatum, and The Perfect Match. Three shows that Netflix gives him a first class seat to do nothing other than laugh at these idiots who make fools of themselves on National TV. Lachey has essentially perfected people watching except he’s getting paid to do it. I have no idea if Nick, Vanessa, or whoever came up with these shows. All I know is the person that did is a genius.
Maybe more shows are on the way. Let’s just talk about the ones that already exist. I won’t spoil the Ultimatum too too much but it’s essentially about a show where one person wants to get married and the other is not ready. It’s either get married or walk away from the person. When the couples are getting their new match, there is this dude Nate that I haven’t stopped laughing at. When you watch Nate try to choose three different girls, get shut down by all of them, then in the blink of an eye propose to the girl he came here with in a matter of minutes; just imagine being there and you’re only job is to wait to laugh until you get back to your hotel room with Vanessa.
I’m also six episodes into The Perfect Match and I can’t get enough. Just imagine being there watching Dom get dragged around by a puppy dog by Francesa only to watch the evil snake turn around and ditch him for Damien. To watch Dom ball his eyes out like this? OMG.
Think about all of the footage they have that goes unshared too. What a life this guy has. If you told me right now that my job was to host these shows and go about my day I think I would sign on the dotted line without thinking twice. Shoutout to Nick Lachey. You did it, sir. Well done. Respect to you.
