AEW Dynamite is set to feature some really good stuff. There’s a championship celebration, we’ll hear from a top star and there is a very intriguing match on the card.
Since The Elite returned at Full Gear, it finally feels like AEW is starting to build momentum. Fans are also actually getting excited about the weekly shows now.
Ultimately, AEW is heading in the right direction for now and the future does look bright for them. With a lot of interesting segments happening, let’s take a look at what to expect heading into AEW Dynamite.
Jade Cargill is celebrating retaining the TBS Championship after taking down Nyla Rose at Full Gear. Cargill has over 50 wins in her AEW career without a single loss. She is having one of the best runs in professional wrestling history and it doesn’t seem like it’s coming to an end any time soon.
What did come to an end was Kiera Hogan’s time with The Baddies. Cargill kicked her out after Red Velvet returned, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Hogan interrupts this celebration to challenge Cargill for the TBS Championship on AEW Dynamite.
We are going to hear from the new AEW World Champion, MJF. This will be the first time the fans have heard from him since he became the new champion at Full Gear.
Last week, we heard from William Regal about his actions, so fans have been dying to hear from the man himself, MJF, about what he has done. I fully expect another incredible promo from MJF on AEW Dynamite.
Willow Nightingale is officially All Elite and now she gets an opportunity to get a huge win under her belt.
This is the first time that Nightingale and Anna Jay A.S will be stepping into the ring. Anna has adopted a new attitude since joining the Jericho Appreciation Society. She has a short temper and will choke anyone out. Anna Jay has gotten a good amount of wins under her belt and if she wants a shot at a title, she has to keep winning.
Furthermore, if Nightingale wants to go after a title, she also needs to win. Since she is new to AEW, every match is important for her, especially this one on AEW Dynamite.
Dax Harwood is having one hell of a year. He currently holds three separate tag team championships and has been having success as a singles wrestler. Harwood was always primarily a tag team wrestler, but this year he started doing some singles matches. He has proven he can hang with the best of them and he is looking to do that on AEW Dynamite.
But his opponent comes by the name of Bryan Danielson. Danielson is coming off of a few losses for the ROH World Championship and is looking to take out his frustration on Harwood.
If these men share any trait, it’s that they like to fight and a fight this will be. This one is going to be hard-hitting and not for the faint of heart. But there is no reason this can’t steal the show and it is a dream match that fans didn’t realize they wanted.
The Elite returned at Full Gear to challenge Death Triangle for the Trios Championships. Although they were unsuccessful, they were granted another shot, well, possibly six more shots.
Following the match, Tony Khan announced that The Elite versus Death Triangle will turn into a best-of-seven series. So far, Death Triangle currently leads 2-0, but the victories weren’t honest. Both times, they used the ring bell hammer to win the match. They are doing whatever it takes to win the match, even if it means using illegal objects.
So, will The Elite get fooled by Death Triangles’ antics or will they be one step ahead on AEW Dynamite?
